Some sketches I’ve been doing in my.. sketchbook. personal, fanart and some for Bijouxred.

Thanks to Terry I was able to figure out how i should handle the first panel and I’m pretty happy with the result, i plan to finish off the last panel today.

I’ve been hit with a lot of motivation and energy on Wednesday that got me really working on the sprites and my own comic, I’m still feeling it a bit now but it’s fading away slowly and I’m trying to figure out what got me so fired up…

I finished the unit lost_a sprite on Wednesday all colored and ready for exporting.. it took me over a month of work and i was very unmotivated and barely working on them. On that day i also found out a technique in toonboom that let me import my hand drawings and convert them into vectored images without losing quality in my work… so i got sprites done surprisingly faster then normal. i guess the feeling of stagnation and repetitiveness in my life has been bringing my spirit down a lot especially when it’s a cycle i can’t seem to figure out or breakthrough, whenever i try i always fail and feel disappointed.

on the bright side today i went on an errand for my father to get him some whisky, this was my first time buying alcohol… alone. and they didn’t ask for my id…
ha! fools.. little do they know that i’m more like 5 year old, right now i’m drinking choclate milk, listening to megaman music and reading manga.

I wanted to upload to share everyone one of the comics for MINT, ill be doing gag comics of these two monkeys arguing for ownership of banana planet.

the only thing halloween about this is the pumpkin =P

Just playing around between painter and photoshop

I think I have made some progress, small but atleast it?s something.
I?m gonna keep working on this whenever I can but I think in the end I won?t be actually using it as a promotional piece I might go with something more simple.. so I appied cutout to perhaps see what the simple version would be like… hmmm.

i’ve been stuck on this for a bit, i really like the general direction of the atomsphere but there are certain things bothering me that i just can’t put my finger on it.

for now i think i just gotta get all of the colors of the characters out of the way, once i get there i think ill have a stronger understanding of how to start approaching everything else.
